Meet the Principal: Coffee + Conversation

Meet Mrs. Walker & Mr. Connealy and Explore Redeemer

A Parent-Focused School Visit and Campus Tour for Kinder Bridge–8th Grade Families

Join us for a warm, welcoming visit to Redeemer School. You’ll start with coffee and conversation alongside our principals, then experience the school in action through a guided campus walk.

After a brief group welcome, families will have the opportunity to explore the areas most relevant to them — with Mrs. Walker leading elementary tours (Kinder Bridge–5th) and Mr. Connealy guiding middle school visits (6th–8th). Along the way, you’ll step into classrooms, see learning in motion, and get a feel for the rhythms of the school day.

This parent-focused visit is designed for families exploring Christian education in North Austin who want to better understand the culture, leadership, and teacher relationships that make Redeemer unique. The experience is relaxed and conversational — not a formal presentation — with plenty of time to ask questions and connect.

A Safe, Joyful Place for Your Child to Learn, Grow and Belong

At Redeemer, children are known, supported, and encouraged every day. Our experienced teachers nurture both academic growth and character development in a caring, faith-centered environment.

Families value our dedicated educators, hands-on classroom experiences, and focus on the whole child. Our North/Central Austin campus offers a welcoming community where children feel confident, connected, and excited to learn. We also provide guidance on admissions, tuition, and ESA/TEFA options to help families navigate next steps.

Meet Our Team

You’ll be welcomed by two dedicated leaders who care deeply about students, families, and the day-to-day experience of school life.

Mrs. Walker, our Elementary Principal, leads Kinder Bridge–5th Grade with warmth, attentiveness, and a genuine love for children. Families appreciate her open-door approach and the way she takes time to truly know each student and support every family.

Mr. Connealy, our Middle School Principal, is a familiar face in the Redeemer community — once a student here himself, now a leader, teacher, and mentor. He brings energy, approachability, and a strong commitment to helping students grow in their faith, confidence, and love of learning.

During your visit, you’ll hear directly from both principals and have the opportunity to ask questions about academics, student life, and what makes Redeemer a place where students are known and supported.

You may also meet members of our Enrichment team — including Music, Art, STEM, P.E., and Compass/Reading — who help bring joyful, well-rounded learning to life across campus. Since they work with students year after year, they often have a special window into how children grow — not just in one classroom, but over time.

During Your Visit

You’ll be welcomed on campus by our School Office Team. Take a few moments to settle in — meet other families, enjoy a coffee in the Welcome Center, and take in student artwork before we gather as a group.

We’ll begin with a brief, informal introduction with Mrs. Walker and Mr. Connealy, where you’ll hear a bit about Redeemer’s approach and have a chance to connect.

From there, families will break into smaller groups based on interest. Mrs. Walker will lead elementary visits (Kinder Bridge–5th), while Mr. Connealy will guide middle school tours (6th–8th). As you walk the campus, you’ll step into classrooms, see learning in action, and get a feel for the rhythms of the school day.

Along the way, you may also meet members of our team and have time to ask questions in a relaxed, conversational setting.

While this is not a full campus tour, you’ll leave with a meaningful sense of our learning environment — and, most importantly, the people who will partner with you in your child’s growth.

Who Should Attend

This event is designed as a parent-focused experience for families exploring Kinder Bridge through 8th Grade, including those new to Redeemer, considering a school transition, or simply wanting to better understand our elementary or middle school programs.

Because the visit takes place during the school day and is centered on parent conversation and classroom observation, we encourage adults to attend without children when possible.

Families interested in student visits or shadow days are welcome to connect with our Admissions team to arrange those separately at [email protected].
