Meet Our School Leaders

Redeemer’s leaders care deeply about students, families and the day-to-day experience of school life. During your visit, you’ll spend time with the director or principal for the program your family is exploring.

April Mudie-Masters

Preschool Director | Infants–Age 4

April has served children and families in Christian education for more than 25 years. Before joining Redeemer, she taught and held leadership roles in public and private schools and Christian ministry settings, working with children from toddlerhood through the teenage years.

Her professional background includes early childhood development and special education, with long-standing certifications in early childhood, general elementary and PreK–12 special education. She is currently completing her LCMS Colloquy through Concordia University in support of Redeemer’s Lutheran mission.

April is passionate about creating a Christ-centered environment where young children are known, nurtured and encouraged to love learning from the very beginning. She works closely with teachers and families to support each child’s academic, social and spiritual growth during these foundational years.

Sarah Walker

Elementary Principal | Kinder Bridge–5th Grade

A graduate of Concordia University Texas, Sarah has served the Redeemer community for 17 years. She spent 13 years as a Redeemer classroom teacher before moving into school leadership, giving her a deep understanding of the classroom experience, our teachers and the children entrusted to their care.

Sarah is also the parent of three Redeemer students and brings the perspectives of educator, leader and parent to her role. Families appreciate her open-door approach, her genuine love for children and the time she takes to know and support each student.

Kyle Connealy

Middle School Principal | 6th–8th Grade

A former Redeemer student, Kyle has now served the school community as an educator and leader for 12 years. He is a graduate of The University of Texas and holds a master’s degree from Concordia University Texas.

In addition to leading the Middle School, Kyle remains closely connected to students as the 8th-grade Advanced Literature teacher, leader of the Musical and Rattler Repairs electives, and Student Council sponsor. He brings energy, approachability and firsthand knowledge of student life to his commitment to helping middle schoolers grow in faith, confidence, responsibility and a love of learning.

During Your Visit

You’ll be welcomed by our School Office Team and invited to settle in, meet other families, enjoy coffee in the Welcome Center and take in student artwork before we gather as a group.

We’ll begin with a brief, informal welcome introducing Redeemer’s approach to faith, learning and student relationships. Families will then divide into three smaller groups based on the program they are exploring.

This is a focused, parent-centered visit rather than a comprehensive tour of every campus space. You’ll leave with a meaningful sense of the learning environment, leadership and people who will partner with you in your child’s growth.

Who Should Attend

This parent-focused event is designed for families exploring Redeemer Preschool, Elementary School or Middle School—whether you are new to Redeemer, considering a school transition or simply looking ahead to your child’s next stage.
Because the visit takes place during the school day and centers on conversation and classroom observation, we encourage adults to attend without children when possible.
Interested in a student visit or Middle School shadow day? Contact our Admissions team at [email protected] to arrange a separate experience.
