When Should We Apply?
Choosing the right school is an exciting — and sometimes overwhelming — process in Austin. With so many great options (private, public, charter, and Christian), timelines can feel confusing. At Redeemer, we keep things simple and personal.
Most families begin the admissions process November through February for the following school year, which provides the widest availability for grade-level openings. However, Redeemer also accepts applications year-round as space allows.
Whether you're planning early or exploring a school change in spring or summer, our team is here to help you make a confident, informed decision. Connect with our Admissions Team — we’re happy to guide the process and timeline with you.

Step 3 — Student Visit or Assessment
For applicants entering Grades 1–8, we invite students for a Shadow Day and brief academic assessment.
-
Shadow Day: Your child spends a day experiencing Redeemer’s classrooms and community. Students entering KBR and Kinder are 1/2 days.
-
Assessment: We use in-house academic checks to understand each child’s strengths and readiness.
-
These experiences help both families and teachers ensure Redeemer is the right fit.
Step 4 — Acceptance & Enrollment Confirmation
Once your child is accepted:
-
You’ll receive an Acceptance Email from our Admissions Team.
-
Early decisions made in February. Subsequent offers will be made on basis of availability.
-
Acceptance Offer and Enrollment Package will be emailed to you.
-
Pay the Enrollment Fee and New Student Fee to secure your child’s spot.
-
Enrollment remains open year-round as space allows.
-
Returning families enjoy simple, continuous enrollment — no need to reapply each year.
