Private Christian School in N. Austin
Discover Redeemer: A Connected Path for Every Student
Redeemer offers a connected path from Preschool through 8th Grade, with more than 70 years of history in North/Central Austin. Strong academics and Christian faith are taught side by side at every stage. Whether your child starts in Preschool or joins us later, you'll find a community that welcomes them from day one.
Our mission—Love Jesus. Love Learning. Love Others.—guides every classroom, every interaction, and every decision.
Preschool (infants to age 4)
Learning starts early, on the same campus where your child could stay through 8th Grade.
Our full-time preschool cares for children from 12 weeks to age 4, with classrooms for infants, toddlers, twos, threes, and fours. Days are play-based, with art, music, Spanish, and movement, plus Bible stories and prayer. Preschoolers have chapel every Tuesday morning, and parents are welcome to join. Teachers hold early childhood and safety certifications, and parents get photos and updates through Brightwheel.
Elementary (Kinder Bridge to 5th Grade)
Strong foundations, taught by teachers who know your child.
Phonics-based reading and hands-on math, with weekly chapel and Bible memory work. Art, music, STEM, Spanish, library, and PE are taught weekly by specialist teachers and included in tuition. The same specialists teach every grade from Kinder Bridge through 5th, so they get to know your child quickly and watch them grow. Reading support, enrichment for advanced learners, and a school counselor are on campus. Every grade takes a turn leading chapel. By 5th grade, students are presenting comfortably on stage, joining Redeemer sports teams, and starting beginner band.
Middle School (6th to 8th Grade)
Room to try new things, with a school small enough that everyone gets a role.
An annual musical where students design sets, run sound and lights, and perform. Life-skills electives such as Rattler Repairs. Team sports with nearly every student taking part. Overnight class trips to Houston, Big Bend and Orlando. About a quarter of our 6th graders are new to Redeemer each year, so no one walks in alone. Graduates thrive in public and private high schools, including Concordia.
Redeemer School is an approved participating school in the Texas ESA program, TEFA, 2026-27 School Year.

Meet the People Who Support Your Family
A child’s school experience is shaped by more than what happens in the classroom. On any given day, your family may connect with our Head of School, principals, school nurses, admissions team or the staff members who help with tuition and financial questions.
These are the people who keep the school day running, help families find answers and make Redeemer feel welcoming from the first visit through graduation. Whatever the question or need, there is someone here who knows your child, understands your family and is ready to help.
