Redeemer Middle School Principal

Meet Kyle Connealy

Redeemer Middle School Principal | Serving 6th–8th Grade

Middle school is a season of growing independence, deeper questions and new responsibility. Kyle Connealy understands that journey personally: his own Redeemer story began as a middle school student.

As a seventh- and eighth-grader at Redeemer, Kyle was encouraged to grow in faith, knowledge and character. That experience inspired him to return one day and serve the school community that had helped shape him. Kyle went on to earn degrees in English and Theatre from The University of Texas at Austin, along with his teaching certification through the UTeach program.

Kyle returned to Redeemer in the 2015–2016 school year as a teacher and athletic director. Over the years, he served as a fifth-, sixth- and eighth-grade homeroom teacher. After earning his master’s degree from Concordia University Texas, he became Redeemer’s Middle School Principal in 2019.

Even as principal, Kyle remains closely connected to students by teaching Middle School classes and electives and leading Student Council. His leadership reflects Redeemer’s mission to help students grow in their love for Jesus, their love for learning and their love for others. He works to equip students, families and teachers to pursue that mission together.

Outside of school, Kyle enjoys running—with hopes of qualifying for the Boston Marathon someday—playing board games, watching movies with plenty of popcorn and playing basketball, by his own admission, poorly.
