SPIRITUAL LIFE
Redeemer is dedicated to meeting the needs of our community and changing lives through Jesus Christ. We combine simple, life-focused messages, a welcoming atmosphere, and a diverse set of ministries to help students grow in their faith.
Faith development is integrated into all areas of our curriculum. Students are discipled to know God’s grace for them and guided to show love and forgiveness to others. Each class has daily devotional or faith development time as well as prayer. Serving others to show them the love of Jesus is also regularly incorporated into lessons and activities.
On Wednesdays, we have three age-appropriate chapel services geared toward each of our schools: early childhood, elementary, and middle school. Parents are always welcome to come and worship with us.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe that God showed His true love for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins, so that we could become God’s children.
We believe God is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We accept the Holy Bible as the true Word of God. Through an understanding of His Word and His active influence in our daily lives, God works to establish a loving and caring relationship with us.
We believe that God’s Word is the basis of all theological knowledge. This tenet of our faith is the fundamental truth of Sola Scriptura or Scripture Alone. We want the children in our school to embrace the truths that are found in the Bible. We believe the focus of the entire Bible is Jesus Christ, true God and true man, who lived on earth with real people, living in an actual time in history.
We believe that sinners are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, for the sake of Christ alone. God loves us so much that He washes away our sins through the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. We will share in His resurrection, thanks to His love and grace.
The Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are a visible means of God’s forgiveness of our sin and acceptance into His family. Through worship, the Sacraments, prayer, Bible study, and Christian fellowship we are nurtured and strengthened in our Christian life and can continuously build our faith.
