Redeemer Lutheran School and Church 1500 W. Anderson Lane Austin, TX 78757

Redeemer families, join us on Wednesday, October 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Reception Room for a Parent Equip training session.

Parents have endless responsibilities and participating in a training event is one more thing to do. That's why we will arrange dinner and provide tutors to help your children get their homework finished in a safe setting so you walk out of here ahead of the game!

Our topic will be "Sexuality: Brain Science & Cultural Impact". "The Talk" has traditionally been feared by both parents and teens alike.  While it has often hinged on personal and theological beliefs, there is new research that suggests some very scientific reasoning behind how we use, guard, and understand our sexuality.

Dr. Freda Bush will be our presenter for this evening.  She is an OB-GYN and President of the Medical Institute of Sexual Health.  She has also co-authored two books on this groundbreaking research,
Hooked and Girls Uncovered.  Dr. Bush is a Clinical Instructor in the Departments of OB-GYN and Family Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and served on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS.  Married to Lee Bush, they have 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren.

Cost is $10 per family.  If you would like us to arrange dinner for you and your family, you can make those arrangements when you register online.

****Due to the pertinent topic for this event, we encourage teens to attend this with their parents.****
