Tim Doyle

Tim began playing guitar at age 13 and in his early 20s decided to dedicate himself to this discipline professionally. He has since tried his hand at performing and composing in a wide array of genres. Groups he has been a part of range in styles from jazz, funk/R&B, music of Latin America, classical, traditional and not so traditional rock. This has allowed Tim to develop as a versatile and flexible guitarist. While living in North Carolina, he was given oppportunity to play different venues and music festivals around the state and further his experience and skill. In 2002, he received a bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Tim has been teaching guitar for over 10 years. He has had professional development and training through the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Guitar Craft and has helped several schools develop quality guitar instruction programs. Since 2003 Tim has lived and worked in Austin, Texas performing and teaching guitar.
